Ronald G. Shashy, MD

 

Ronald G. Shashy, MD received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his otolaryngology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn.

 

Dr. Shashy is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

 

Dr. Shashy previously practiced in the Greater Atlanta area. He also served as a Captain and Blackhawk Pilot with the U.S. Army from 1991-1995.

 


Chadwick Ahn, MD

 

Dr. Ahn received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Kentucky.  He then completed an internship in General Surgery and a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

 

Dr. Ahn is board certified in Otolaryngology and has special interests in the following:

– sinus disease and sinus surgery (including image-guided surgery)

– the diagnosis and treatment of allergy

– general adult and pediatric otolaryngology

– diseases and surgery of the salivary glands, larynx, and thyroid gland

– voice and airway disorders

– swallowing disorders

– ear surgery

– balance disorders

– evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, including hearing aids

– diagnosis and management of obstructive sleep apnea.

 

Dr. Ahn has practiced in Frankfort, KY, since 2009.


Susan K. Yezzo, Au.D., CCC-A

 

Dr. Yezzo received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Kentucky in 2000. She completed her Masters Degree in Audiology from Towson University in 2002 and earned her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from PCO School of Audiology in 2005. She spent ten years as an audiologist at Kentucky Ear Nose & Throat before joining ENT Specialists in 2013.

 

Dr. Yezzo is certified in Audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing-Association and is a licensed Audiologist and Hearing Instrument Specialist in the state of Kentucky. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is also a member of the Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her primary interest is adult evaluation and treatment of hearing loss with amplification.

 


Daena Wilds, Au.D.

 

Dr. Wilds received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Tennessee in 1983.  She completed her Master of Science in Audiology from The University of Louisville in 1985 and earned her Doctor of Audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2008.  She joined ENT Specialists in 2018.

 

Dr. Wilds is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Kentucky.  She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.  Her primary interests are diagnostic testing and treatment of hearing loss with amplification.  When not working, Dr. Wilds spends time with her 4-legged children, Buck and Olivia.

 


Hannah Wilson, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA

 

Dr. Wilson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Murray State University in 2017, and completed her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at the University of Cincinnati in 2022. She completed her externship at ENT & Allergy Specialists in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Wilson joined ENT Specialists in 2022. Her primary interests include adult and pediatric audiometric evaluation, and evaluation/assessment of dizziness and balance disorders.

 

Dr. Wilson is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Kentucky. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

 


Megan Trinkle, Au.D.

 

Dr. Trinkle received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences (2015) and her Doctorate of Audiology (2018) from Indiana University.  She spent 4 years at Heuser Hearing Institute before taking time off to have her 2 boys.  She joined ENT specialists in September 2024.

 

Dr. Trinkle is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Kentucy.  Her primary interests are diagnostic testing and treatment of hearing loss with amplification.  When not working, Dr. Trinkle spends time chasing around her 2 toddlers, Porter and Windell, with her husband, Thomas.
