Some private health care plans cover the costs of audiologic tests, a hearing aid evaluation, and even partial or full coverage of a hearing aid. Be sure to check with your health insurance company or your employer’s benefits manager to find out. You may also call any one of our offices for more information.
Medicare pays for hearing tests with a referral from a physician, but it currently does not cover the cost of hearing devices.
At this time, Kentucky Medicaid does not cover hearing aids for adults.
